Come Back Mother's Home
The day is the second day of Chinese New Year ( Lunar New Year ), was when married daughters visit their birth parents and relatives. In Taiwan, we called " Come Back Mother's Home" (回娘家). There is a heavy traffic day. Married daughters and their families take cars in traffic jam. Even though High Speed Train and other transportation are filled with people from northern to southern, cities to countries.
Traditionally, married daughters didn't have the opportunity to visit their birth families frequently. They were hard work to bear and take care of children and do all house-work in husband's families, hardly to see birth parents. They were precious the festival holiday, when might be promised to come back visiting birth families.
Today, more of females received high education and have a high income .They obtained more rights to decide their life styles and to choose their marriage by themselves. The second day of Lunar New Year ,married daughters and their families want to gather for annual reunion party with
birth families,relatives and close friends.
回娘家
今天是中國農曆年的第二天，是出嫁的女兒拜訪親生父母及親戚的日子。在台灣我們稱為回娘家。這是一個交通壅塞的曰子。出嫁的女兒和她的家人塞在車潮中動彈不得。即使髙鐵和其他交通工具也都擠得水泄不通，從北到南，城市到村莊都是人潮。
過去的傳統，出嫁的女兒很少有機會常常回娘家，她們在夫家辛苦的生育，教養子女並包辦所有家務事，很少見到自己親生父母。她們很珍惜這個習俗，這一天她們可能得到允許回娘家探親。
今天，越來越多的女子接受高等教育，有了高所得。她們獲得更多的權利決定她們的生活方式和自主選擇婚姻。農曆年第二天，已婚的女兒帶著她的家人回娘家，參加一年一度的大團圓，並拜訪親友。
