Shopping in Farmer Market
Sunday was a sunny day.Shopping in Farmer Market was interesting.
Every Sunday morning,the farmers were gathering near the train station of Mountain View City.They sold their harvest by themselves,such as organic vegetables,fruits,baked bread,cake,eggs,coffee,cheese,flowers,plants and lots of pumpkins.
Many local citizens took a walk around the big market ,saying "Good Morning"to each other.The aged couples were smiling hand in hand.The young couples brought their children or pushed their babies in strollers in the warm sunshine.
The children were made up in costume,such as dragon,bat,spider,lobster,penguin,eggplant......Some women made up themselves in middle ancient costumes.They were enjoying in their Halloween Festival Holiday.
We bought some vegetables and peaches and two artichokes.They were fresh and organic, very popular among the local citizens.
逛農夫巿場，
星期日是個晴朗的日子，去逛農夫巿集相當有趣。
每個星期天早晨，山景市附近的農夫們會集結到火車站附近。他們出售自家生產的有機蔬菜水果，和烘焙的麵包、蛋糕以及雞蛋，咖啡，乳酪，鮮花，各種植物和成堆的南瓜。
許多本地居民會來逛農夫巿場，一邊散步一邊互相打招呼，親切道早安，老夫婦手牽手微笑以對，年輕夫妻帶小孩或推著嬰兒車出來曬太陽。孩子們裝扮成龍，蝙蝠，蜘蛛，龍蝦，企鵝，茄子等形形色色，一些婦女打扮成中古世紀人物，他們在享受萬聖節的樂趣。
我們買了一些蔬菜和桃子和兩個朝鮮薊。 當地居民都很喜歡市集的新鮮和有機產品

Changing Lantern Festival in Zhubei
March 10 , the end of the Lunar first month , splendid Lantern Festival was coming to a happy ending. This year of the snake according to Chinese zodiacs, lantern festival was held in Zhubei city. Since Chinese New Year, every day more than thousands of people crowded the High Speed Railway Station of Zhubei, as sea water flowing in and out.
The Lantern Festival was held annually starting the fifth day on the first month of Lunar New Year. Due to the idea of Green environment, most of people refused to pollute air ,so that reduced plenty of firecrackers ,fireworks and hand -carried lanterns. Zhubei city is a technology hub ,thus , the snake -sharped lantern was made into a robot-looking one and all lanterns were shining bright in LED to save electric power.
In Taiwan , people come to a common sense to fight against polluting and think about how to resolve the problems.
改變中的燈會一竹北
三月十日，農曆正月月底，燦爛的燈會進入快樂的尾聲。照中國生肖今年是蛇年，燈會由竹北主辦。從農曆年至今，每天成千上萬的人群像潮水湧進湧出竹北高鐵站。
燈會每年在農曆正月十五日開始。由於環境保護觀念，許多人拒絕空氣汚染，因此減少了大量鞭炮，煙火和手提燈籠。竹北市是科技園區，因此打造巨大的機器蛇型主燈，所有燈會的燈均以發光二極體大放繽紛色彩， 且節能省電。
在台灣，人們對反汚染已凝聚共識，並思考如何解決問題。

Thirty Years Passed

Thirty years passed
March 2, I was invited to join a tea party, getting a big cheers from guests. In spite of passing over thirty years , their smiles are similar to me . They were my students from 1979-1982. Time flys, they show me a picture which was taken in the school sports, teen-age girls with happy smiles and two kids with a young teacher and mother in them.
In that time, Taoyuan County was changing rapidly from agricultural society into industrial and commercial society.The Provincial Chung-Li Commercial High School was famous in vocational education of Northern Taiwan ,becoming the first choice for students who wanted to get a good job soon.
My students almost came from farmer,labor or solder's families.They were hardworking students,always having some warm heart assistants in them to help reading and learning every course.They cut hair with each other every month to save money.When performed a play ,they made costumes or decorations by themselves.
After graduation from high school ,they went to college with part work ,part study. Then one by one , they became a wife, a mother, a worker as busy as bees and had no time to think about themselves. Someday ,somebody called back to say " Hello ! " thirty years passed.
They are responsible and important role in their families and the society, even now you never heard their names.
三十年過去了
三月二日，我受邀參加一個茶會，賓客中爆出熱烈的歡呼。雖然睽違三十多年，她們的笑容依然熟悉。她們是我1979-1982年的學生。時光飛逝，她們拿出一張運動會拍的照片，裡面有一群十幾歲開心的女孩和兩個小孩，一個年輕的老師和母親。
在那個年代，桃園縣正快速起飛，從農業社會進入工商社會。省立中壢高商在北台灣以職業教育著名，成為想很快就業的學生第一選擇。
我的學生大多來自農家，勞工和軍人家庭，他們勤奮好學，每一科目，班上總會有一些熱心的小老師自動幫忙同學學習解惑。每個月為了省錢互相剪頭髮。表演時服裝道具裝飾全部自己動手完成。
高商畢業後，他們半工半讀上大專。然後一個個成為妻子，母親，職業婦女，忙得像蜜蜂，沒時間想到自己。有一天有人打電話約見個面，已經過了三十年。
他們在家庭，在社會都是有責任感的重要角色，即使直到現在你不曾聽過他們的名字。
